Simple Natural Cures For Hair Loss
Exercise
It may sound far-out but regular exercise is indeed needed to have a healthy crop of hair on our head. By the laws of gravitation, it is easier to send blood to our toes than to our head. Our heart has to work harder to make blood reach our head. To do so we need a stronger heart and to get a strong heart the best way is to exercise. Any exercise that is good for your heart is good for your hair. Try doing head-stands daily for few a minutes, it will increase circulation of blood to your head and your hair will get all the nutrients needed to have a shinning and lustrous growth.
Manage Stress
It has been proved scientifically that quality and quantity of your hair is related to one’s stress levels. Stress and hair is inversely proportional; the more the stress, the less the hair. If we want to cure hair loss, it is necessary that we mange our stress level. In this high paced life, we cannot avoid stress; the key is to manage it to acceptable limits. We can reduce stress by exercising, having balanced diet, having a hobby, gardening, playing with kids, praying, doing social work, etc. Having low stress levels will not only keep your hairs intact but also assist you in living a healthy and longer life.
Balanced Diet
Balanced diet is necessary in having good hair on our head. If you find that you are losing hair, check your diet, you may not be eating correctly. Hairs are made up of proteins, mainly keratin. It is necessary that we have proteins regularly in adequate quantity. Make sure that you have your quota of meat, nuts, milk, eggs and legumes. Also make that that you take omega 3 fatty acids, found abundantly in salmons and flax seeds. Omega 3 helps in proper growth of hair follicles and keeps the sebaceous glands well lubricated.
Chemicals
Chemicals are prime agents that destroy our hair. Try avoiding use of chemical products on your hair as much as possible. If you are using detergent based or chemical based, always use the mildest form available in the market; an herbal shampoo is always better. Chemical based shampoos dehydrate the hair and make it prone to breakages. Also avoid using air driers, as it robs the hair the moisture it requires to keep it healthy. Always cover your hair with a scarf or cap when going out in the sun. The ultraviolet rays of the sun and the pollutants in the air damages the hair and makes it weak.
Herbal Hair Shampoo
Make an herbal hair shampoo; a panacea for all your hair problems. Soak overnight 50 grams of Shikakai (Acacia concinna), 25 grams of Reetha (soapnut), and 50 grams of Amla (Indian Gooseberry) in one liter of water. Boil it gently for two minutes. When still lukewarm, mash them together and strain with help of a muslin cloth.
You will have a brownish liquid. Use this liquid as a shampoo whenever you wash your hair. Shikakai is being used in Ayurveda as medicine for hair problems. It is a good cleaning agent for hair and does not destroy the natural oils of the hair. Reetha is a natural cleanser and removes all dirt from the hair gently. Amla is rich in vitamin c and provides the nutrients required for the hair growth. Amla also helps the hair to retain its natural color and neutralizes oxidants that damages hair.
Warm Oil Massage
Give your head a warm oil massage, it will not only make your hairs stronger but also rejuvenates it. Heat some coconut oil in a small bowl (do not boil). With the tips of your fingers apply the oil to your scalp massaging it thoroughly. When complete, wrap your head with a steamed thick towel and leave it for at least twenty minutes. Shampoo it and you are done.
Beer
To make your tangle free and manageable it is necessary that you condition it after every wash. Beer is the best natural conditioner that you will find in the market. After washing the hair, rinse it with beer for a lustrous and soft to touch hair. Beer is another incentive that will make you wash your hair regularly; you can’t keep half a bottle in the bathroom, it must go down the throat.
Dandruffs
Dandruffs are yellow or white scales that you find in your hair. Not only they are itchy and embarrassing but also make our hair weak. There are two reasons of having dandruff: poor hair care or contacting it from someone else.
Wash your hair at regular basis; shampooing it once in a week is mandatory. Do not share hair brushes, combs, caps, hats, etc. with others. In case you have dandruff, rub a lemon slice on your scalp; wait for fifteen minutes then shampoo. Do this daily for a week and your hair will be free from dandruff.
Oil Your hair
It is necessary that you oil your hair on regular basis. Oiling the hair ensures that the hair retains moisture and get vital nutrients from external source. Coconut oil, almond oil, olive oil, is the best oil for your hair. Avoid using mineral oil for your hair.
