Angular cheilitis is the inflammation, which can be commonly seen in one or both mouth corners. This is also known as cheilosis or angular cheilosis. It occurs due to infection caused by fungi or bacteria. The factors that are considered for this problem are nutrition deficiency, having a dry mouth, closing the mouth more than needed, drooling, the habit of lip licking and immunosuppression.

Eclipta Alba
This is an herb, which is commonly known as false daisy. This can be seen growing in areas where warm climate is prevalent. This product has been used widely in Ayurveda. This herb has the capability to destroy the fungus or bacteria that cause these cracks in the mouth corners.
This herb is also known for improving growth of the hair and its color. A few leaves of this herb can be washed and crushed to a semi paste and should be taken in the morning before tea for 3 days. This destroys the bacteria or fungus that had been causing this problem.
Ocimum Sanctum
This herb is commonly known as holy basil or thulasi. This herb is a well-known medicine used in Ayurveda and is also used for many religious ceremonies. This is a common medicine for colds and headache. This is also known to cure inflammation and heart diseases.
This is an adaptogen herb that helps in relieving stress. For curing the inflammation caused on the mouth corners, a few leaves of this herb can be crushed and the juice of the herbs can be applied to the cracks. Cure can be seen in two days to a week.

Tea Tree Oil
