Skin tags are small, flat, slightly brownish in colour, non- cancerous tumours of the skin. Skin tags are very common among people but they are harmless. Skin tags can appear on any parts of the skin but they are mostly found on eyelids, neck and chest.
Overweight people and people with diabetes are very much affected by skin tags. Rubbing of the skin or irritation of the skin due to any friction causes skin tags. You can get rid of skin tags by using some herbs.
Herbs For Skin Tags
Tea Tree oil
Take some tea tree oil (5-6 drops) and add it to your bath water. Mix them well and then take a shower using that water 2-3 times every day.
You can also take some tea tree oil on a cotton cloth and apply it well on the affected skin and then massage gently for 10-12 minutes. Do this 2-3 times every day in order to get rid of the skin tags very fast.
Aloe Vera
Take some pieces of aloe vera, rub them gently all over the affected skin. Do this 3 times every day. You can also use aloe vera gel. Take a cotton ball, add few drops of aloe vera gel on it and then apply it on the affected skin.
Then massage gently for at least 5-10 minutes. Aloe vera will help to get rid of the skin tags because it has great healing properties and will also provide a cooling effect.
Garlic
Take some garlic juice or garlic oil and apply it on the affected skin using some cotton balls. Massage it gently and then leave it like that for 10-15 minutes or cover the affected skin with a cotton cloth. Do this 2-3 times every day.
You can also take raw garlic, cut it into slices, then apply it directly on the affected skin and massage gently for some time. This herb is very effective in removing the skin tags within a short time.
Onion
Take an onion, slice it in two halves and then rub it gently on the affected skin. Do it 2 times every day. You can also take some onion in a blender and then take out the juice and add it to a little amount of apple cider vinegar.Use some cotton balls to apply it on the affected skin. Do it daily for 2 weeks and get good results.
Castor Oil
Add some drops (2-3) of castor oil on a cotton cloth and then place this cloth on the affected skin and keep it like that for some time or the entire night. You can also add some baking soda (a pinch) to castor oil, mix them well and then apply this on the affected skin.
Apply this before you go to bed at night and the very next day in the morning first wipe it using a soft cotton cloth or cotton balls and then rinse it off with some water. Use this remedy every day until you get rid of the skin tags.
So getting rid of skin tags is not that difficult and by using the above mentioned herbs you can easily get good results within a very short time.
