Tea prepared from barberry roots is also beneficial. Take two-four gm of barberry dried roots in 150 ml of hot water for ten to fifteen minutes. Consume this tea for three times per day continuously for seven days.
Chickweed has skin healing properties that help in curing skin rashes, burns and irritations in the skin. Leaves, stems and flowers of chickweed in the dried forms along with olive oil are used in the treatment of psoriasis and skin acne.
Coconut oil is used to treat dry skin and help in reducing skin irritation. It is mixed with vitamin E, chamomile and sage to prepare an ointment which is helpful in curing psoriasis. Four tablespoons of coconut oil are mixed with one tablespoon of vitamin E oil, five drops of chamomile and two drops of sage. Warm the coconut oil and add other ingredients. Store the mixture in a refrigerator and apply when required.
Licorice roots are used to prepare tea which is helpful in treating psoriasis. It is also used along with other medicinal herbs.
