Oatmeal And Honey Mask

Take one or two tbsp of oatmeal and add an equal amount of honey to it and put in a grinder to make a smooth paste. Apply it on your face and neck. Keep it on till it dries or say approximately for 15 minutes. Wash it with fresh water to find soft skin underneath.
Cucumber And Honey
Cucumber is known to reduce skin irritation, fatigue and is naturally refreshing. Honey will make your skin soft and treat sunburns.
Mix the juice of cucumber in equal quantity of honey and apply it twice a day. Keep it for 5 to 10 minutes and wash your face after that. It is best to use it after you are back from outside and at night before retiring to bed.
Yogurt Pack
Yogurt is a natural cleanser and moisturizer. It has been popular with the women of yore. They would use it on their face, neck and arms to get a smooth and glowing skin. To add more benefit to it, you can put black gram flour (besan) and a tsp of honey. Apply it on your body, keep it for 5 to 10 minutes, rub it well before washing it off. The roughness of gram flour will act as a gentle scrubber and remove the dead skin cells.

This is a very effective moisturizer for use at night after a hectic day. You can prepare it and keep it for a fortnight or more in the fridge. Take equal quantities of glycerin, fresh lime juice and rose water.
Put them in a glass bottle, shake well and use every night. A really easy, inexpensive and wonderful moisturizer for you. Fresh lime cleanses the skin, rose water tones the skin and glycerin acts as a moisturizer.
Citrus Juice And Baking Soda Treatment
Try this refreshing and gentle skin treatment. Mix equal amounts of fresh orange juice and fresh lime juice. Gently massage them on your face, feel them entering your facial skin through the pores. Do it for about 10 minutes. They are acidic in nature and will soften the skin. It will make your black heads easy to remove and skin easy to exfoliate.
Now take a tbsp of baking soda, moist it and rub it gently on the skin in circular motion. It will remove the blackheads and the dead cells. Wash it off and the skin that comes out will be supple and clear.
Milk As A Cleanser
Milk is a wonderful skin cleanser. Try it and you will not use anything else. You should use fresh unboiled milk for the maximum benefit. For reducing blemishes use milk in combination with a bit of fresh lemon juice and cucumber juice. All three clear the skin naturally.
Egg White
Like milk, egg white can also cleanse the skin. It can stretch the skin as well to the extent that the wrinkles will fade for a few hours. To reduce sun tan use one egg white, one tsp each of lemon juice and honey. Mix all these thoroughly. Apply it on your face, neck and arms, keep it on for 20 minutes and then wash it with fresh water.
You do not have to worry about the smell of the egg. Egg white does not leave any smell. It is the yolk that has an unpleasant smell.
Tomato Juice
Tomato juice and curd can be mixed in equal quantity. Apply this everyday, rub it for 2 minutes and wash it off. Tomato juice is acidic in nature, hence is helpful in removing oil from the skin.
Turmeric And Yogurt
Mix 1/4 tsp of turmeric powder in two tbsp of yogurt and apply it on your face or body. Rub it for sometime say for 5 to 10 minutes. Wash it with fresh water. This is great to reduce skin tan and enhance the softness of the skin.
Sandalwood And Neem
Struggling with pimples? Use this simple natural treatment. You require sandalwood powder and fresh or dry margosa (neem) leaves. Soak neem leaves in hot water for half an hour, the goodness of this universally acclaimed antiseptic tree will seep into water.
Strain this water and keep aside. Apply a paste of sandalwood on your face for about 10 to 15 minutes. Wash it with the neem water, do not rinse it with fresh water for some time.
Rice Flour Scrub
The stubborn black heads refuse to go away easily. Make a paste of rice flour and sour curd. Rub it on your face for 10 to 15 minutes. The rice flour should be fine one and not coarse, you may put it through the sieve if required. By now the black heads would have dislodged. Wash it with fresh water. Full Cream Of Milk
This is a great treatment for dry and cold winters. Cold winds remove the moisture from the skin leaving it dry and chapped. This thick full cream taken from the top of the milk should be applied on your face.
You can wash it with moist gram flour (besan). Milk cream will moisturize and nourish your skin and gram flour will act as a cleanser. The best time to use it at night.
