Onions
Onions have anti-inflammatory properties and can be used to reduce swelling in the airway. This would enable the air passage to open up, letting sufficient amout of air to enter lungs. The best way is to eat raw onions. You can have onion in salad with meals. In case you cannot stand the smell and taste of onions, cook them with curry. Various Indian curries are made with onions.
