When the number of healthy red blood cells in the blood decreases and becomes much low in number than the normal level, then such a condition is known as anemia. Iron-deficiency anemia and sickle cell anemia are the most common types of anemia.
Anemia usually takes place due to loss of blood and decreased production or destruction of red blood cells. Pale skin, weakness, feeling dizzy and problem while breathing are some of the symptoms of anemia. You can get rid of anemia by using some herbs.
Herbs For Anemia
Turmeric
Add turmeric to potatoes, chicken and other foods and thus include it in your diet. You can also add 2 teaspoons of turmeric powder to a glass of water (warm) or to a cup of herbal tea and then drink it. Have it 2-3 times every day and easily get rid of anemia.
Dandelions
It can be included in your daily diet by adding the leaves to your food as a flavour enhancer. You can also crush the leaves into fine powder and then have 1-2 teaspoons of this along with a cup of water 2-3 times every day. Other than these, you can also use the roots of the dried herb to make a herbal tea.
Take some roots, cut them into small pieces and then put the pieces in a cup of warm water. Heat it, let it steep for 10-15 minutes and then strain it. Have at least 2 cups of this herbal tea every day for good results.
Mullein
Take some dried leaves of the herb and add it to a cup of boiling water. Heat it well and then let it steep for about 15 minutes. Then steep it well and drink 2-3 cups every day.
You can also crush the dried leaves to fine powder and take it along with a glass of water. Have this least 2 times every day to get good results within a short time as the herb is very effective in treating anemia.
Ginger
Include ginger in your every day diet by having a ginger along with other foods. Ginger being a common cooking spice is found in different types of food and drinks like ginger bread, ginger sticks etc.
You can also boil a cup of water and then take some ginger root, cut it into small and fine pieces and then add it to the cup of water. Let it steep for at least 10 minutes. Then strain it and drink it. Have 2 cups every day as it will help you to get rid of anemia very fast by improving the blood circulation.
Comfrey
You can take comfrey as a salad and thus include it in your every day diet. Take some leaves of the herb and put them in a cup of water. Heat and let it boil for sometime. After that allow it to steep for 10-15 minutes and then strain it properly.
Then drink this tea of comfrey 2-3 times very day. You can also crush some leaves into fine powder and have 1-2 teaspoons along with a glass of water at least once every day.Thus by using the above mentioned herbs you can get rid of anemia within a short time.
