Honey helps in boosting the immune systems. It can prevent and treat wheezing. Take a container filled with honey and keep this under your nose. Breathe in the honey vapors. You can also take a tsp of honey several times every day or include it to a beverage prepared from ginger or garlic.
Alternatively, take equal proportions of ginger powder, gooseberry and long pepper in the crushed form and make a paste. This preparation must be mixed with clarified butter and honey and taken regularly to reduce mild wheezing.
Camphor And Mustard Mixture
Camphor and mustard oil mixture is effective in treating wheezing. External application of this oil can help ease breathing. Mustard oil penetrates the body and breaks down the phlegm and relieves the difficulties of asthma. Alternatively, a pinch of camphor can be mixed with ½ tsp of asafetida, and 1/4th cup of sesame oil.
Mix them thoroughly and store it in a dark glass bottle. Apply this preparation two times every day on back and chest. This helps in relieving wheeze and muscle contraction. The pills prepared by using asafetida and camphor can be taken 3-4 times every day along with water.
Garlic is used for a long time to treat cold and cough. It has anti-inflammatory properties, which help in curing asthma, wheezing and reduces the phlegm produced in the respiratory passage.
Garlic cloves can be included in the diet. The crushed garlic can be added to the vegetable juices. It can be boiled with milk or water and the beverage can be mixed with ginger or honey. For best results, this mixture should be taken every day.

Taking green tea and ginger tea can be very helpful for wheezing. Mustard tea is also found to be quite effective. Turmeric tea containing garlic, ginger and turmeric can relieve wheezing. These teas relieve congestion and clear the bronchial passage.
Spice mixture containing ginger, cumin seeds and nutmeg powder is effective in treating wheezing. Take grated ginger, a pinch of powdered nutmeg and some cumin seeds along with water and boil it. This solution has to be taken every day.
