Cold Water Bath
One of the best home remedies for sunburn is to take bath with cold water mixed with baking soda. Soak in the bathwater for twenty minutes. Do not soak more than this as it may cause skin dryness. After having the bath, do not use towel for drying yourself. Dry the wet skin naturally in the air. Do not remove the baking soda from the skin by wiping. You can also add one-cup oatmeal to the bathwater. You can buy the oatmeal powder from a pharmacy.
