Just make sure that as soon as your skin shows the slightest sign of pinkness, move to shaded areas.
Vitamins And Minerals
A deficiency of potassium in our diet can also cause age spots, for a good intake of dietary potassium; we can eat apricots, cantaloupe, bananas, avocados, figs, dates, kiwi fruit, and melons.
Supplements of Vitamin C and Vitamin E can also be taken for treating age spots.
Dietary zinc can also be consumed but make sure that more than 15mg of zinc is not consumed daily as it can hamper the absorption of copper.
Apple Cider Vinegar
Add two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and one teaspoon of orange juice. Mix the two juices and dip a cotton pad in this solution. Put the cotton pad on age spots and bandage it. Apple cider vinegar can also be used with onion juice. First blend or chop onions to extract the juice.
Now mix apple cider vinegar with this onion juice in 1:1 ratio. Dip a cotton pad into this solution and directly apply it on the age spots. Put a bandage around it and keep it bandaged for about 30 minutes. Repeat this for six weeks.
Three tablespoons of apple cider vinegar when mixed with one mug of hot or cold water can be directly consumed twice a day for a month for the speedy recovery of age spots. You can also mix one tablespoonful of honey for neutralizing the taste of vinegar.
Lemon Juice
Lemon juice contains acid that helps in fading the age spots. Just drop lemon juice on the age spots directly two times a day. You would be able to observe the difference in two months. You can leave the juice on the skin for about half an hour or an overnight. Do not go outdoors before the juice is dried as it increases skin’s sensitivity to sunlight.
Some Other Home Remedies
Organic buttermilk contains lactic acid, which can help in restoring of pigmentation of the skin, thus put organic buttermilk on the age spots. Make a paste from 1/3 cup of mashed chickpeas and a little water, and apply it on age spots.
Leave the paste on age spots until it gets dry, once it is dried wash it away. Sap of dandelion also works great for age spots, Just break the stem of the dandelion, and apply the sap on the age spots 2-3 times a day. Aloe Vera is good for treating skin problems. It can also be used for treating the age spots.
Apply fresh juice of Aloe Vera on the age spots two times a day for two months. Apply castor oil on the age spots every morning and evening. Repeat this process for about one month and you will be able to notice a significant change in your age spots.

For curing age spots raw fruits and vegetables should be consumed in a great quantity with water.
