Onions have powerful antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and antifungal properties. They are useful in treating jock itch. Take two onions, cut them and grind to make a fine paste.


Apply this paste on the area infected by jock itch. Wash the area completely with lukewarm water after about 30 minutes. Pat dry the infected area using a blow dryer. Onion juice can also be used instead of onion paste. Consuming more onions can boost the immunity of the body and will protect the body from microbial infections.
