Vaginal Irritation

Vaginal infection can be a result of a lot of things. Mainly bacteria and yeast is responsible for vaginal itchiness and swelling. Even thrush and vaginitis can lead to irritation in the vagina. Such a situation can really be uncomfortable and many women would not be comfortable in discussing this with a doctor.


Insert this into your vagina and keep for not more than 20 minutes. Crush few garlic cloves and blend them with onion using a mixture. Follow this procedure daily to eradicate the infection. After four or five days, you will witness improvements.

Tea is also an effective herb for irritation in the vagina. Burning sensation while urinating is common during vaginal infection and tea bags can give you relief from that. Take one tea bag and soak it in a cup containing water which is at normal room temperature.

 You can also use cedar oil to get relief from the pain and itchiness. Pour few drops of cedar oil and a pinch of salt in your bathing tub and soak in the tub for few minutes. Always use warm water. Repeat this for 5-6 days.

Calendula or Echinacea

Calendula is also a natural antibiotic. Wash the pubic area with water mixed with dried calendula powder. This will prevent further infection and also enhance the healing process.


Taking in Echinacea orally can help you get relief from vaginal irritation. Take in about 200 mg of this herbal extract daily four times.
